Where has the time gone!?

I'll post up on another topic about my recent trip to the Japfest Classic at Goodwood, and a very recent Essex Rotary Owners meet yesterday.

The other big news is KIMI 3 went in for it's MOT today - it's last legally required test, being 40 years old!

A small thing, but satisfying progress on a part I was about to throw away.

I thought this windscreen washer motor was beyond redemption as the rotor was rusted solid to the casing magnet. However, a soak for a few days in some rust remover solution did free up the rotor and I managed to get it apart, as in first pic.

After a bit of careful cleaning, all looks good. A lick of paint on the casing and I'll re-assemble, hopefully gaining a working motor again!
