Aw no
Sorry to hear this
Could it be anything to do with the heat ?
Like certain grades of PU foam susceptible to heat
Bit like we can only use certain graded  fire foams around  doors and some have to be coated prior to being covered
Or am I talking about the wrong type oh PU

So sad to hear. Reminds me of my Cortina bare metal rebuild project: the first joy of seeing it "finished" soon faded as things started to come off, beginning with the window strips when waiting for the ferry home. Then the manifold started touching the crossmember, making an awful racket,; then the brand new brake discs warped, because the powder coating hadn't been removed from the caliper mounting brackets before assembly. Of course, the boot was fully packed when the lock decided to come apart, and so on and so forth. I could go on for hours...  ::)  Last thing to go before I sold it was the rear radius arm mountings. I suppose we must factor in these things when embarking on a project. No fun at this point, seeing progress run backwards, but you'll get there!
Hmmmmmm over braps

Ill phone them lunchtime see if they can explain why it happened.

At the moment, im thinking rip the spoiler off, fill the holes and repaint.

Make a new one in the winter, I just cant bear to look at it

As for the headlining, I cant get in to re apply adhesive, so may just rip that out too

Ah man, I can only imagine how gutted you're feeling right now having poured so much time and effort into it. But it is an epic build and from what have read/seen, if anyone can sort this you can.
Stay away from flammable liquids and naked flames mate. Deep breath and piece by piece she'll be back to glory again.
Remember she's based on a Lotus so things happen unexpectedly

So a very diplomatic email to zircotec yesterday explaining my disappointment of their costing that is just falling off after jdm.  White dots appearing also

He have asked for it to go back to base for inspection with quality team and be re coated FOC

10mins to remove, no great shakes ........

Nice to see a decent colour of biscuit brown on the inside for that clean burn

Exhaust colour is  :love4:

Jamie, one downside I found is that brake cleaner attacks zircotec, so is it possible some has got splashed onto the manifold.
All the best Clive
