As I've got a new daily to drag the cars to the tack on a trailer now.

I know it's a German oil burner, but the B5.5 was the most over engineered Cortina to come out of Wolfsburg

Did my first commute today in it after months in the rx8.

Almost changed into 6th which it doesn't have

Thankfully I left it in neutral while I pondered before chucking it into reverse at a sizeable speed officer.

Could have been messy ......

Very nice! Drop the window-winding mechanism and you gain quite a bit of interior space in those doors. A mini bar to go with those cup holders? (strictly passenger side only, of course!)  :occasion14:
Hmmmmmm over braps

Jamie R

No wind downs. Just poly carb

Cool! Makes me feel ever so slightly envious. Tomorrow I'll be struggling with linking up window winding mechanisms full of greasy waxoyl and heavy glass window panes at odd angles. Could do with growing a third arm overnight...

Lol use your middle leg

Me again............

Still lurking in the shadows, covered in filler dust. Last few stages before tear down of the car for paint etc.

So after months of testing, bread boards, programs, swearing, and crossing of fingers..........

I have a production item of the circuit board that does all the hard work of stripping the canbus codes down, adding the wheel sensor codes and firing them to the stock speedo binnacle.

Dont ask me what all the components are, because I havent got the first clue, but its been tested and works a treat.

Just need to finish the car and fit it.............

Looks an exceptionally professional piece of work :icon_thumleft:

I've been playing with the Arduino development board for a while now, learning about what it can do and designing a couple of programs, but that board looks tremendous in comparison to where I am at  :notworthy:
