Looking at the pic are the ecu plugs long enough to reach the ecu? May not need extending

Yeah they defo do.

Prolly need another 6" ..... cough

Thought so but looked like it might pop through bulkhead. There was plenty on Clives engine loom when extended.

The bulkhead on the lotus is a strange stepped one. It looks odd because there is loads of room behind it hence the exhaust pipe is there.

The engine is around 3 inches further back from the front axle centreline compared to the stock rx8. If the footwell is about 12" further forward than the bulkhead. So if it was "normal" I'd be easy on without needing to extend.

It is what it is. We overcome these little issues.

The "wrapper" looks good at least  ;)

Should be a reliable and neat solution, as long as kept clear of heavy water spray  :icon_thumleft:

If you want to get all anal Jamie. After each 1 " verify". So identify cable and ecu pinout number from drawings then the end termination at plug and continuity test ( beep test or ohms test). That way your checking your work as you go.
I done this on all my looms....its time consuming but will save oddles of time at end if the bugger dont start.

Needs doing its quite easy to join the wrong to wires together..far easier to verify now than try n find later.
After engine loom..i think you should do power loom after. Alternator starter battery and fuse box feed. Whilst you got the most room.

Yeah I was gonna have another catch up after this to discuss next stages. I'll mount the ecu first somewhere appropriate after checking the loom .
Tbh, I've cut one wire at a time and double checked pin location before joining.
I'll be amazed if I got any wires incorrect...... famous last words lol
