Is she still in mate? My mrs said thats a nasty condition, ideally she should be in hospital so they can monitor it

Day 3 in the big brother house.

Moved to medical assessment unit. Scheduled MRI for 8am tomorrow.

Hopefully she can come home tomorrow, were on holibobs next week

Jesus, never been on such an emotional roller coaster!!

Iâ€™m in the shed, Emma phones at 6pm to say sheâ€™s been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis!

Iâ€™m a mess, her dad who was with me is a mess and we hot foot it up there.

Weâ€™re all going through scenarios and about 8 pm the neurologist turns up.

He is convinced she has transverse myelitis, she has an inflammation in a third of her spine caused by perhaps a virus and her immune system is attacking her nervous system.

She could get it again and it could lead to multiple sclerosis.... but one day at a time.

Next 3 days is iv drip of steroids and because the inflammation is so large 60 mg of steroid tablets and tapering off over the next 3 months,

Weâ€™re good for holiday in Wales and Baileys graduation next week and weâ€™re good for Portugal later in the year.

Sheâ€™s still poorly but itâ€™s better news

Just asked me how I would recommend collecting it.

I said you HAVE to hold the glass tube and just ...... aim lolllll

Well, that's not good news, but some relief in that it's not as bad as the initial diagnosis. I'm so glad you can continue with your plans for the near future. As you say, one day at a time for now.

Nope weâ€™ve had better weeks but she can feel her feet more today so the steroids are helping with the inflammation of the spinal cord.

Could last weeks, or months, or a year before she fully recovers. Strange as it sounds Iâ€™m looking forward to being nurse next week. If sheâ€™s lucky Iâ€™ll give her a bed bath .
