Dual pass, 2 chambers, coolant does a double pass..so not in at bottom out at top easiest route...effectively in at bottom pass through to top, pass to bottom out at top..superior cooling.

I know who to see as the master of solid works when I want some more parts designing for the 3d printer, I normally end up making dummy thin wall prints for mocking up purposes before the main one.

RE a V mount It's just a slightly different radiator intercooler set up.
Essentially three variations of a theme top mount is with the rad in the traditional position with a intercooler above the engine the big down side to this is heat soak plus point shorter pipe runs
Front mount the intercooler is in front of a traditionally placed radiator it necessitates longer pipe runs and obviously as you've a heater in front of the rad air temps passing through it are higher and tend to have less velocity offsetting this is cooler combustion air temps to the engine and less heat soak.
V mount has the cooler horizontally mounted (ish) with the radiator below and cantered back with ducting you can get full velocity ambient air temps to both rad and intercooler at the expense of more engineering and possible space issues.

Oh ok, I need to caviat it with, I'm not running intercooler as its N/A nor the air conditioner cooler/rad.

Just tilting it forward a fraction from stock to clear the bodywork.

No worries on the CAD, just bear in mind I'm far from an expert on CAD. I'm better at hands on, but I use CAD when it's quicker than building prototypes to prove something off

Update...... so, Ive changed my mind...........again !

The new Koyo rad is on the horizon, and it needs tipping forward a tad more to get it under the nose cone! Most will call it a bumper, but Im calling it a nose cone, all will become clear (as mud)

So the original rad sub frame is junk, carved a load off but using it to hold the wood for the pattern.

So we're extending the front wings around the wheels a bit more and making the whole front flat rather than it pointing out in the middle.

Need to lay up some fibre glass on the leading edge of the bonnet opening and have a vertical return going down the flatfront.

The vertical flange will serve 2 purposes, firstly be the start to making the inner wheel arch "liners" with the integral louvres as per the RX8 to vent the hot oil cooler air into the wheel well.

The vertcial flange will also provide mounting for the nose cone, which will house the headlights, thinking of a similar set up as the 787B with polycarbonate covers.

The nose cone will have the splitter and dive planes, house the air filter too.

Its a long road.........

Well the patterns have got to the next stage..... first few coats of primer flatted down.

Despite all the colour differences, its actually mirror smooth.

just goes to show when you think youve got a panel smooth with filler theres still highs n lows. At least my arms got a work out past few weeks, saved gym membership........

I wish I could just lacquer it now, but theyre a tad heavy lol.

Onward......next bit. Never thought id say i miss fibreglassing,

Ok so im trying to re-introduce some Lotus styling again to the wings, as I had to cut the originals off.

Had some 8mm solid bar rolled to the diameter of the wooden template, then massaged them to fit the curvature of the wing.

Bonded them on with some filler, sand, (bit more to do) and voila!

Radiused flares, just like the original wings!

Its the tiny details like this that finish it off
