Tonight's job. Clean SSV housing.
What a c*** of a job

Paul_13

I'm still lurking. Works been manic and we're typing to move house which has added to the stress of things. Luckily we've ended up in tier 2,most of my family and friends are tier 4.
Ended up getting bored and removing all of the quiet exhaust mods I've done recently. The inner rude boy says I need more noise and flames to cheer me up

Better, but still not great. Its leaning towards my little finger quite a bit. Only option I've got is joint replacement

Like like were heading into tier 4 on boxing day so I thought it would be a good idea to take the mx5 for a spin. It's really on point and rapid with the aftermarket manifold fitted and dB reducer removed. Might look at the fitting the homebrew cold air intake again to see what the difference is

I fitted the home brew cold air intake and crikey its so much quicker. Spins the wheels changing gear and feels more on point all through out the rev range.
I've also been looking at building my own rx8 style back box. Jetex sell all the bits to fabricate your own back box.
On the bright side.... My wife found the missing smax keys my daughter lost and we sold our house today :) looking at an ex-mod house in Tadley.

Looking at installing a heimholtz resonator onto my exhaust to try and stop the drone.
Just need to figure out where I can fit it in!

And 2021 started off with a bang... Literally
Hit a deer doing around 50-60mph..
I just can't get my head around why mk3.5 parts are so hard to get hold of.
Looking at £250 used front bumper in red. Or £600 for one ready to spray + £300+ for new front grille..

That's illegal, they class it as poaching.

However if a car pulled up behind Paul and put the deer in his boot, then that's not illegal, that's picking up roadkill.
