I've also put a sleeve over the ssv stop post to try and stop the car chattering on idle so much

Paul, Have you pulled out the SSV, as they only normally chatter when they are carboned up and the noise is where they are struggling to work.
All the best Clive

I haven't pulled it out, but it looks clean from the top with upper inlet manifold off and it operates freely. Extensively tested for fault finding

I've swapped the front anti roll bar to a mx5 item and it seems less inclined to understeer.
The dsc still kicks in unfortunately under right tights easily.
Going to swap out the dsc pump next. See what that does

Paul_13

Swapped the pump out and strangely a code has popped up which confirms my suspicions.
C1155 Front left speed sensor failure. Why this hasn't popped up before removing the abs pump I don't know.

Fingers x that puts the dsc issue to bed.

I ended up jacking up the front wheel with forscan connected and wiggled the abs cable whilst the wheel was spinning and there was no drop in signal

I think it’s either 4 or 5 mph is when Is when the light normally triggers if there’s a fault
Can you move it and read it live ?

I have done previously and nothing was out of the ordinary

Paul_13

I've been having a few issues with jerky throttle and cutting out.
Double checked the earth onto the cross member and for some reason I had put copper slip on it and bolted straight onto paint. Serves me right for working on the car drunk when I did the conversion.
Drives like a complete different car now

Yay!!! I havent had a drink working on a car for about 10 years after i drilled through my hand...washing a car in early eve sun nice to have a beer though!
