Massive dip in power holding it at 5k going up a slip road

I think I've fogies what the hesistation under full load accelation is....

Flat foot shift mode.

Restricts the revs back to 6k hence the massive feeling of hesistation.

Wish I realised this sooner!

Last time i shifted like that was in my xr2 when i was 19...
Being carbed not FI like my previous xr3i...it revved out and went bang. The conrod came out the side of the block...
