The clutch switch raises idle as well so if anything funny happens look into that side of things.

Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Cant wait to get my car to split fire. And hopefully without apexes might turn screamer pipe towards pedastrians (dunno did I typed that right)

The coils must of done the trick, no more P0301 codes.
Also mazdaedit now do launch control :) just waiting for the guy to get back to me.

Think the exhaust is also holding it back, going to look at fabricating one, might cut off the exhaust manifold flange where it tapers down and carry on the pipe size straight through. Probably be 2.75/3" all the way through.

@boosted : by the way the idle raise has worked a treat. 1k idle now and all of the stuttering has mostly dissappeared.

Is there a oil temp sensor on the rx8 s1's? Can't find it on my obd reader. Surely it must have one!

No oil temp sensor . I find oil temp lags coolant temps by 10 deg c for 15mins...without an oil thermostat.
If you fit a sandwich plate on oil filter housing you can monitor oil press and oil temp. Essential if going on track not so much on road.

Madness, can't believe mazda didn't fit one.

Had a response from mazdaedit/epifan... Not available yet. Does any one else find him extremely rude? Or maybe its the language barrier

I spotted a small patch of oil underneath the car earlier and peered through the bumper....
I've had 2 no 90' 10an fittings fail simultaneously. Great.
Glad I spotted it.

Gone for a slightly different design from an English manufacturer /seller.
Tight 90' instead of pulled bend. I think the pulled bend had deformed the seat of the swivel.
Hopefully the nut swaps over as I doubt I'll get that off the old pipes

Back up and running. All seems good.
It has the odd spell where it is a bit boggy and pops on great change but seems to clear. The injectors are probably tired
