Dont quote me but i was under impression via canbus and signal originates from abs/dsc module..so abs sensor dont know which 1.

Cool cheers. Just plugged it in to the snap on scanner I don't have any signal from the rear abs sensors?!

I've got continuity on both sensors to the abs plug.
I've compared mx5 and rx8 diagrams and it sends ad though the polarities are reversed and the sensor possibly only works one way.
Would explain why the EPS worked in reverse briefly!

Going to have a look at rx8 part numbers against mx5 for rear abs sensors.
Can't imagine they're that different?!

The car i was involved in they swapped the subframes...not sure if mx or rx hubs so dont know what abs sensors on it... id be checking resistance values of rx8 compared to mx5 1s.

Info on the rx8 abs sensor should be on here in the technical section and im sure you got access to the mx info. Worth checking.

Rx8 sensor should read 1.3-1.7 but mx5 sensor only reads 1.056
I've ordered some resistors to see if its a quick fix

Rx8 shaft is on the grass
Mx5 shaft on the white background.
Both 44 teeth. But rx8 ring looks a bit deeper.
Not sure if that'll make a massive difference.
Rx8 sensors should fit but I'm not sure if it will be close enough to the ring.
Might give rx8 sensors a go failing the resistors

Id get some get 1s correct resistance to work with rx8 abs...is the diameter of mx5 same as rx8? So pulses same ?

Not sure what you mean there predictive fail.
I've ordered some 1.5 kilohms resistors.

I've got the dimensions for the mx5 abs ring but can't find rx8

I meant to say lol id get rx8 abs sensors correct resistance to work with the rx8 abs/dsc unit. My only concern would be diameter of ring so pulses are correct...and or diameter of front number of teeth etc.
