Back on my feet..what do you mean by maf housing?...i have not got standard on mine...my car uses a cut up KnN typhoon tube with a massive ramair filter stuck out the nose cone...its joined by a silicone coupler...not sure i got what you need to measure.

Plan is to cut it off before air box and blank off hole. Can't find a maf housing tube for reasonable money, only stuff in America which is dear

Radiator mounted. Bloody snapped off the top hose. New rad needed.
Yanked fuel pump out and going to fit one I bought.
Front drop links fitted.
Cold air intake ordered
Rear brake lines were seized, going to forget fitting the rear braided lines.

New fuel pump. Was recommended this by the supplier as they didn't have any deatschwerks ones in stock. Hopefully a straight swap. The old gauze was really clogged and a lot of metal :/ not sure what would cause that but would explain the lack of performance on the 1.8!

Much easier than I thought!

Similar but different to the rx8 fuel pot...the central chamber is in fact a secondary filter on the 8 and looks like it is too on the mx5.

Stupid me didn't label up which was fuel line and what was evap....
Today has been full of mincing about without achieving a lot.
I've figured wiper wiring, going to do that later a long with extending the indicator loom to reach mx5 side indicators.

Picked up a new rad with ecp discount. Wasn't a bad price!

Also had a coil fail on the 330i this morning so had to fix that, went for a full set in the end along with plugs. Runs like a dream now.

Old mx5 engine is ready for its new home, being collected tomorrow. 33k Genuine miles!

Nc engine in demand me thinks...nearly as unreliable as a renny lol...
Earlier discussion on fuel gauges...does the mx5 have dual fuel gauge senders? The 8 does.

Mx5 only has one. I'll have a look at rx8 wiring but I think the wires which transmits signal links into fuel pump sender wire from memory. I'll double check

Worth a look see..rx8 dash is expecting 2 senders.
