On the top of regulator on fuel pot assembly is a plastic clip...weld it on with small tabs..ie melt it on in 1 or 2 places.

I'll take it apart and have a look. I take it the regulator is separate to pump?

Sits on top obvious when you look at it.. not essential you do...ive done with uprated and delete of fuel pump resistor means high pressure behind reg all the time.

Tried ordering a deatschwerks pump but the seller accidently had it listed as being in stock. He's recommended a quantum pump which I've ordered hopefully it's the correct one. Got a few nights in centre parcs for a little break, so only procrastination taking place for the next couple of days

Hopefully this will all be the right size for the air intake. I'll have to measure the maf tube when I'm home.
Honda s2000 Air filter which has a 86mm internal neck diameter, 90mm tube (1.6mm wall thickness) and 90mm id 90' degree elbow.
Also thinking of buying the air straightener to put before maf sensor as I won't be able to use the rx8 screen. This should hopefully help distribute the air over the sensor correctly.
Similar setup to my mx5. Very limited to options but I'm not decreasing the bore size any where and it should be pretty free flowing.
All in all around Â£130. Or buy a non K&n filter which will be vastly cheaper

The small side is 80mm dia and large size onto filter box 95mm dia.
