Your build.... surely you have upgraded the clutch. What big brake kit did you go for?

Its crazy fast at full power

My link ecu as a map switch so map 1 is 350 bhp and map 2 is 500 bhp ... or will be again once I have run new engine in.


It has a race clutch but I don’t know which one as it was just installed new when I bought it and was put back in with new engine ... will find out

D2 brake kit front 356mm 6 pot

Before you start converting best to get compression check done on engine so u get a idea how healthy it is, worse thing in the world when you spend a lot of money upgrading to find the engine dies not long after ☹️

Need some advice guys....


If I go for a few simple mods like Apexi FC and inter cooler etc.... I might hit get around 320 bhp with the stock twins. Or I could go with a single turbo conversion for circa 5k and achieve around 450bhp with EFR turbos....

Worth it? Seems a lot of money for a little increase.

I like the twins, no lag.. less stress on the rest of the drive train...upto you im sure id like 450...lol...but im happy with 320 and it flies on track.

I won’t  be using the car on a track. Just the occasional weekend street use. Would be good to hear from others who have experienced both
