Lol mate

You know, speaking of that clutch, it isnt too bad. I thought it would be super heavy to use, but actually it is not.

If this weather stays nice I think my Seven will be exiting hibernation this weekend too! Hope you can iron out the mapping issue soon.

Nice

Yeah, we are, and our group is trying to figure out those issues.

Also, my fuel pressure sensor is showing wrong info compared to manual gauge. And we cant figure out why, configuration should be ok

Great to hear of this massive step forward (or maybe backward out of the garage  ;)) - moving under it's own power though :)

funny how they go in the garage ok - lol

I had a similar experience while my 7 was in garage for winter. Thanks to the snow, I found out people were using my drive as a turning place Spring came and I put in some fold down parking poles to discourage them ! First time I went to drive the 7 I discovered she  beached on them!

re japi

Few days ago I pulled UIM off, to see what injectors I really have in primarys. Basemap is sooooo rich that we had to took it down alot. That make us think that injectors arent the ones they should be. She usee ALOT of fuel even in idle

So, I took numbers from injectors and sent them to company that sold them, too see their true flow rates. Cause it seems that I have misplaced that paper report that comes with them

Then I put UIM and all back in. But, as it turns out, it was mistake. Yesterday I turned ignition on, and it has massive fuel leak. I dont know why, so I have to pull them apart again

So, thats what I have to do today, UIM out, again.

Anyhoo, plan was to get car on the streets this week. Running in streets mapping basically. Well, it turns out, thats a no no, as you see from that pic...

Very pretty though  ;)

Good luck with sorting out the leak.

My job for today or tomorrow is to replace my RX-8 OMP with another one from a breaker to see if it solves my P1688 CEL code (and limp mode  :(). The old OMP passes all the electrical checks, and there are no shorts to ground on the loom, so either a mechanical fault in the OMP or a continuity fault in the loom.

Fuel leaks check, cluch cylinder bleeded, oil temp gauge added, and some minor stuff...

Btw, have you bleeded your cluch cylinder? Weird looking stuff came out off there

Well, my primary injectors are ok. So we still cant figure out why basemap is so rich, its straight on ridicilous. After all, if someone tryes to start stock engine with that basemap setup, I reckon its almost pointless. My primary ports arent that big, they are basically same that FDs stock ports , so about 1/4 - 1/3 bigger than FCs stock ports. Still it makes me confused that she wont want so much fuel that basemap offers. However, she still might be lacking some compression, so that might be it too
