Hey mate, sometimes theres just summit we cant do at home or just dont have the skills for and then we get some help....like tonight my workmate will be milling my manifold and downpipe and an other mate will be tigging it and my st/ st welding is dire.
Get some more alloy piping...pie cut it up so you have lots of pieces and straights and join with tape as you build it up so it all joins up nice then take to a welding fab shop.

I have done some minor jobs lately...

Ecu is in its place, made bracet for it below glovebox. All wiring is done...

Car has all electics now. Yesterday I tested it and connected laptop with ecu. Voltages showd that everything should be ok. Damn I was nervous to made that connection (pic 1)

Was strugling to raise top on, to get to the coilovers upper mounting. Couldnt figure out why top wont move and some warning buzzer went off. Then it hit me, hand brake needs to be on

So, finaly top was on and took interior off. Everything went smoothly. First try at cars hight was crap, measured wrong it only lowered about 1cm. Second try, well I was abit greedy. Jackstand was stuck on car, cause it was too low. Third try setup is on these pics. Rear is about 1,5 cm higher than front

Anyhoo, it think I leave it there now. Cause tomorrow we are going to try to start her!!!

Getting there Jarno  :great:

To add to Jon's excellent advise, for the first start on a new Turbo, I go further.

I use a squirty oil can and pump loads of oil into the inlet just before the rest of what Jon said.

All the best Clive

re japi

Yeah, today I tryed to figure out how to get oils flowing before start. I reckon I have to crank long without fuel.

Thaks for advices gents

re japi

Well.... s**t...  :(

Fan reley dont work properly. We dont know why. Seems like its getting wrong signal from ecu.

Rear rotors secondary injector is not getting signal. We think plug isnt plugged properly

And the weirdest thing, somehow my bigger Aeromotive fuel pump has seized it self.

I have few problems with electrics still, but thats not too bad...

re japi

Well, got new fuel pump to Vert. But wrong adapters. Crap...

Last saturday we went testing Blueberry. Even tho it was wet, I had fun. Air filter was stuck so it consumed some oil to engine via airbox...
