Now you have no top mount id leave open...i suspect it will vent out now as high pressure flowing over bonnet will create a venturi effect and suck the hot air out....

This grafic shows pressure areas around FC. It should suck some air to engine bay.

Dont know how my stupid idea works, but plan was to get air flow to exhaust side and flush hot air out of there

I did read some where, that people have raised back side of bonnet to flush air out. It doesent work on FC cause, it sucks air into engine bay and makes hot air turn around there. FCs engine bay air should leave from down of engine bay.

Don't forget

High velocity = low pressure

And vice versa

Talked to people in FC owners site at facebook. They told that this wont work. I cannot understand why...

Everyone basically told me to get hood vent like Re-Amemiyas which basically reverses airflow, it vents air to out from this...

Luckily, friend near me has one, and he can lend me his mold

Open flow from removing top mount intercooler creates kind of vacuum, and it disturbes normal air flow. Basically it messes up whole air flow in engine bay.

FC looses hot air from engine bay to under the car. Also it messes up fmic, rad, oilcoolers ram air effect even tho they are close from other engine bay.

They said that basically there is two option in T2 bonnet if TMIC is removed. Close that scoop, or use vent that vents out by vacuum...

However, for some reason all this is kind of hard to me to believe. Ofcourse there are many many people and companys that have researched this thing, with better brains and resourses that I have. But I just dont get it...

Few dudes were quite supportive and said that I should collect data, like temp gauges, air flow gauges and so on, to prove them wrong. Stubborn bastard that I am, I quess Ill take that as an challenge

What a...? Just noticed: when I took stock suspension off, I managed to damage brake lines. Hard line have gone a flat a bit. They were really stuck, so I didnt notice that I damaged them when I was fighting with them...

What Coilovers are they?
They look the same as the ones I picked up earlier this year for my FC and I'm really hoping they're not the same...
I Finally got to drive the FC home from Essex rotary today after more than 2 years off the road, following what can only be described as biblicak levels of welding.
Ride was firm yet very bouncy and did not make for a pleasant experience.  Soon as I have some spare cash they're coming off!

Great you got the car back, now you can get it how you want it.
All the best Clive
