Importers to be uk

Hi chaps Chris here. Used to be an rd owner 8 years ago and it has been calling me ever since.
So I am looking at purchasing a fd again but thinking of importing one direct from Japan.any companies out there that have been tried and tested that are trustworthy? I will either import a decent rd or to a total rebuild.

Torque GT in Devon have a good reputation. Don't know where you are but people have been prepared to travel to buy through them.

I have used their garage services and was pleased.

I used Torque GT to import my 2001 Bathurst R. It is nearly 5 years ago, but the process was explained thoroughly and the costs at each stage of the purchase. Took a while to find the right car for me in Japan, but worth the wait. I took the train down to collect and drove back.

I never forget a face! If I remember rightly you had a silver FD. Good to see you’re back in the market. Importing is definitely an option but I’ve seen the prices in japan are steadily rising so perhaps it may be worth looking at ones over here too. Granted there doesn’t seem to be a massive selection but if you scratch the surface a bit you’ll find there are some decent examples for sale. What exactly are you after and what is your rough budget. I may be able to point you in the right direction.

dunno my my price range atm. i might even do a full rebuild and replace everything.  and yes it was a silver Fd i had. that is now in Italy
