^^ We weren't planning to meet up prior, just turn up at the venue  :)

The venue, as I understand it, isn't that big, so shouldn't be too hard to meet up during the afternoon (I hope!).
Cool.. thanks .... ( shouldn't get lost in a small venue ) see you there ... Sunshine and lots of Mazdas .. should be a Rhubarb marvellous Day ..

I wont spoil it, but having been down to Mazda HQ in preparation for the weekends event -----------------I was staggered to see two very very special older Rotary's sitting there, even Japan can't have examples that good  :love4:

Even if your not booked to park actually in Mazda HQ and you want to see whats going on, you could always park at the Wharf pub just around the corner and wander in for a look   :great:

Good day today, with the many Mazda staff in attendance making everyone feel super welcome, resulting in a nice relaxed atmosphere.

I will post pics tomorrow as I don't want to spoil anything for people going tomorrow.

One thing that I didn't think would be there was a Race Car simulator which loads of people had fun on and wow I saw some strange lines round Brands   8)

Many thanks to all who came along today, great to see that many cars turn up and particularly great to see lots of Generation 1 RX-7's arrive.

The big surprise  of the weekend was the brand new condition RX-7 with just 59 miles on from new !!!!! Plus the best Generation 1 Works RX-7 on the planet, completely untouched and never ever used.

The day went exactly as planed with a completely relaxed atmosphere with Mazda owners mixing and talking to each other just enjoying each others cars, plus people got to drive any new Mazda they wished totally unaccompanied, indeed there were 100 plus test drives over the weekend, plus an F1 style simulator, in other words on the day this event had everything a Mazda Fan could wish for  :great:       .

This was a most enjoyable, chilled out event, with FREE (good quality) coffee and hot food on tap from Mazda :icon_thumleft:. There were loads of very enthusiastic Mazda staff on hand, but it was the enthusiastic owners and their great cars which made the event worthwhile. I attended on the Sunday PM session, only to find out the rare Cosmo had left in the morning, and the RX-3 was no longer to be seen either  :(

Great to meet a few MRC members (along with their cars) that I haven't seen for a while  :13:

Star of the show for me was this stunning FB with just FORTY-NINE miles on the clock :love4:

My transport for the day:

Enjoyed our visit on Saturday afternoon , nice to see all the cars. Test drove a new MX-5 (needs more power) and saw the new CX-5 unveiled. Thanks to Clive for organising with Mazda UK and thanks to Mazda UK for the hospitality - great burgers and coffee  :great:
