Hi Matt,

As you know, being able to PM full club members is part of your MRC membership, just as access to the members area is.

Under data protection the club is not able to give out non members details, just the same as we are not to with club members.

However if you wish we can pass your e-mail address onto Jon then its his call to get in touch if he wishes,

Hope this helps
All the best Clive

Hi Clive,

Not a problem, that would be good of you if you could. I didn\'t realise John was not a full club member that explains why I couldn\'t pm him.

Thanks again:Thumbsup!

Hi guys. Thanks for your feedback confirming my thoughts.

Matt, I\'ve sent you an email :)

On that note, I really should become a full member

Hey Jon,

Just replied, apologies for the slow response. Just finished wall papering the nursery for the arrival in April :)

Quote from: Grant Monkhouse;848851Although the results are different from what they were originally thought I wouldn\'t have said they were poor. From front to rear yes but from rotor face to rotor face they are prety close.

We know Carl will sort you out with advice as to when it needs rebuilding etc.

From my point of view I would install a WI system post IC, as this would clean up any carbon on the rotor for sure and possibly raise compression,

A friend of mine had compression of mid 6s on his first fd, installed WI, learned to map it himself on an apexi ecu and nailed the car hard every time he went out in it, the only reason he took the engine out was to Install a PP turbo motor! He says the engine held together so long and strong was because of the WI he added:)

Thanks for that advice, Grant. Out of curiosity, what is a WI system? I assume by post IC you mean intercooler? What does it do exactly? And does it only work in conjunction with a Power FC as I don\'t have one. ll the car has is an AutoExe car back stainless exhaust and as of today, Apexi filters...

Grant Monkhouse

Water Injection, you don\'t need an apexi ecu as the system you can get is a seperate system that monitors your boost pressure and injects water at a set point. Ask Carl about them, he might say its not necessary but worth a look at, WI is the best way for power and max reliability.

Grant Monkhouse

IC is intercooler. WI cools everything. Inlet air, EGTs its good stuff.

JayDee

I personally would not recommend you run water injection on a standard ecu as you have been told, but as Grant says Carl will sort you out.

Ah, thanks guys. I shall speak to Carl about this option.

As for not knowing what WI meant, GOD I feel stupid lol! Think my brain needs to wake up today.
