Well I have a 3in downpipe and matching decat sitting in the garage waiting to be fitted think I might just get on with it on Sunday as they have been sitting around for a while now any tips to the downpipe as it looks like it might be best to tackle from the top!

Ill write summit up laters as took mine off this morning lol....just got back from using the mill at work...well i say that my boss pushed the dum electrician outta the way and mill the broken bolt out and saved my manifold....ive come home to find the decking has been delivered and im gotta move it all so i can put the westy away ffffffffs lmao.

i put my downpipe on me tubbys to show the bolts.

bottom 2 bolts gonna need to go at it from bottom mate.

remove alloy hard pipes on top. marking up or photo vac lines.

access to o2 sensor disconnect plug at uim then unbolt o2 sensor ideally with cut away socket 22mm.. unscrew and put in safe place.

14mm deep socket on 4 nuts on studs...i found i had to undue and slid off steering shaft...remove lower bolt theres a slot and it wont slip out in order to make room. get the wheel straight before.

theres 2 x10mm nuts for the alloy hard pipes that i found i had to go at it from underneath....

2 x17mm flange bolts on downpipe to mid pipe....

lots of lube on them stud nuts...

theres a bit more 2 it but thats the basic and the things to watch out for....i expect there frikin tight and pray to rotor god they don't pick up.

usually basics axle stands la la la that i know youll do.

Pentrating oil in a spray...wd40 and such like....you may be able to get to the bolts without so much stripping out but i was removing anyway so made sense to make access.
