With Jano's post I wasnt 100% sure if you had lost Diesel, really sorry to hear you have.

Yes we had him put to sleep yesterday he was old and joints were giving him problems but he was happy and eating and would seek me out when i was in the garage. Start meowing til id have to stop what i was doing and give him a cuddle lol.
Then 2 days ago stopped eating and just drinking. Vets diagnosed diabetes and ketosis.
We decided at 18 years plus age that daily blood tests and injections was not the right thing todo for him.
He has been a constant in my life for the last 18 years and i considered him a great mate who id look forward to coming home from work to see. Curl up on sofa with him purring away.
To me he was the worlds greatest cat.

Usually, the best choise is to let him/her go. Even tho it hurts like hell.

Before our daughter was born, I had to put a sleep my wifes cat. Even tho I knew the cat just a few years, I cryed alot

My daughter was gutted when I told her about Diesel. She remembers him. She sents her condolences too

A little update from moi..
So mx5 project finished and been on track already this year.. pretty much as covid restrictions lifted.

Rx7 has been out of mot since 2nd lockdown but shes been regularly started warmed through and moved around my estate to keep the brakes and clutch free.
I could hear a blow and thought it was the dreaded turbo area but got her up in the air yesterday and delighted to see it was dp to centre section... I run a orifice plate in this 3" join to stop boost creep so flange gasket orifice plate gasket flange.
All removed whizzy wire brushed and assembled back together with smears of fire putty and x2 new gaskets. Gas tight now.. good check over of car and cant see anything stopping mot except x2 new wiper blades.
Mot soon.. gotta be 6 months plus since i drove it on public roads. Mot soon..
