Car was only £3500...awhile back sat in a field for 3.5 years...ive actuallly been very lucky with it...its taken so much track abuse.
Health issuies compounded by nhs waiting times and my consultant seeming to not give a flying f67k about me...having to complain to get treatment.

re japi

Yep, that car was bargain. Considering what abuse she had, I cant understand why it didnt broke much earlier...

Time for rebuild, big ports, and single turbo...?  :great:
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

maintenance and a good tune. Gotta say the defi gauge set has been what saved it it when overboosting and temp control.

That reminds me, I still need to get mine on the rollers.

Not that it's being driven in anger as its being a commuter and workhorse.

Nice renesis swap though eh Malcolm?

Well, funny you should say that...........................

I purchased a 2005 RX8 a few years back, popped the bonnet and removed the HDPE injection moulded engine cover.

I then stored it for a number of years collecting dust.

I purchased a Lotus Elan, and had plans to fit the engine cover.

Unfortunately Mazda decided to make the RX8 engine taller than a Lotus Twin cam engine so with limited engine bay room that idea when out the window.

Then I bought a Spec B Legacy and thought ahhhhh.

I cleaned the aforementioned engine cover and strategically positioned it.

Guess what? it cost me a few £££££ but it fooled many on the day!!!

If anyone else need engineering work carried out to this high level, drop me a line or visit my website.
