Jon I thought it was your FD parked outside Merlin when I came in off of the track on Thursday.  Mine was the Arcadian Blue Mk11.  You went before I had a chance to come over and say hello.

all in all had a good day and new engine went well.  also suspension re-alignment done by Dave at Track developments worked well and car is now much more stable before Avon Rise and through Old Paddock and Hamerdown.

Did manage to damage a CV joint which I have just taken off so need to get a quick replacement as I am at Goodwood next Thursday.  Looks like increased rear suspension droop (+20mm on shock open length may have been too much for the joint)  I have a picture of car with inside rear wheel just off the ground going through fast right just by pit exit so probably more tweaking still to do!

The red GT40 you have pictured failed noise and was unable to run, unfortunate as he had come down from the Lake District.

Regards

Dave

Little update from me, rebled the brakes again, had a little moment at Silverstone where the pedal went soft, bled the rears for ages til happy, tiny little bubbles every now again....check the rear end over again for this illusive clunk and no issues found...maybe exhaust, maybe diff...defo need to work on my rev matching down shifts.

today is dash cluster again...not sure what im gonna do... :))

and white wheels are a pita to keep clean.
