EAT SLEEP ROTOR REPEAT.

How daft is this, car fails mot because emissions are out due to leak in exhaust which is after the catalyser, fix leak and it passes..... Hmm

Yeah called a leak...but actually pulling in atmospheric air and causing a fail.

Just think though. You swap engines over, sell standard car for 1500ish and you will have got a fully rebuilt, run in engine for 1000 a rebuild kit costs over £1000

Damn, Grant has a really good point! :)

Anyhoo, I started to think about that power steering thing. I think you and Chris will be okey with non power steer. And ofcourse feed back from the tires is awesome. But I thought that FD own power steering is pretty good, good feed back...? And your tracks are quite "big", doesent have lots of narrow corners, so you should be fine without power steering...

But your clutch... ;)

Btw, road from Westbury to Bath, awesome rally stage!!! Would love to take a good car to there. I was rallying the crap out of our lunchbox there :D there I did that burnout too ;)
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Chris...where did you source your manual rack from?.
Grant....yeah not cheap...iridium i believe...supposed to have a 30k life according to mazda????

Jon, got mine from a guy on other FD site. He converted a number of racks to manual. He had a late (2000) FD he was rebuilding for track. He put on a manufactured manual rack and converted his 2000 rack to manual for me. He's called Matt. I can send his e mail address if you want.
