Yep goona try i should be back in late next week! Off the weekend and i done all my chores so in the garage early tomoz doing the bushes...there cool like rose joints proper race stuff as you said!

car is immobile on driveway so cant get in garage but even if i could theres no room around it to swing tools. need a can of "man up".

Well these pillow ballache bushes are fun to change. Done 1 but cant get the hub on the wishbone now.

well actually pressing in an out very easy but i read an online guide saying to use 32mm socket on the side to except the bushes whilst pressing out..nope dont fit prob!...my 36mm deep is 6 sided so a no go if it was 12 sided then would have be perfect so took me an hour hunting high n low to assemble the relevant hardware to complete the job. lol inner race form old wheel bearing and rjt dairy fitting and some studding and penny washers. 22mm 12 side perfect for the pushing out bit. any ways pics tell the story 3 hours all in...hampered by the fact both side hub would not engage with new pillow balls. bit of compression over the years had to file a leading edge and wack on with my 22year old mallet lol.

pressing in easy as pressing out.

got these perfect condition from ebay ready to pass on. standard bushes all no wear.

oh and blonde moment....i was turning my driveshafts and heard a der dunk der dunk noise...oh balls diff is noisy

....NOPE hand brake cable sat on abs ring on opposite side!

Things have ground to a halt atmo with brakes all stripped off. Was due togo in for another op Friday but no room for me despite consultant telling me i was in (clinic didnt tell me!). Hoping to get out onit tomoz depending on how i feel.
Gotta wait til 11th March now for next op! Nothing major though corrective surgery from last surgery...just feel below par and low on energy some pain and discomfort good days n bad days atmo....mighty peeved ive gotta wait another month.

Your hammer looks like its well used

I used the same method to change Pillow Balls. Just have to make sure you pull them in straight.
