Carl recommended swapping the solid mounts to the 1s supplied with the car due to excessive vibration. Both are steel and heat shield is present. sump is weeping in various places so prob best to raise engine rather than dropping subframe as ill be doing on drive way now. must off got lucky as this seems a common problem, my last FD was leak free entirely apart from the fuel tank that was always emptying itself!

Well windscreen man told me mx5 rear view mirror will fit new uk windscreen.....guess what ? It dont. Doh 20 squids in the bin.

hi mate i should have a rear view to fit your screen. i assume yours has the metal clip on the screen? Â£30 delivered if you need it. thanks

yes mate, thats the standard one they fit on all new screens on the fd. I have the right mirror for it. Send me your email and ill send you pics. thanks

Supposed to be mot today.. .but drivers door wont let me in....raaa frozen up looks like seat out and door card off in car so not today as spent an hour getting in it and getting it running that i missed my spot. Inside door lock is just flapping about...too cold for me southern softie lol.

put me long johns on...nice n toasty now in minus 3...well wierd door pull off all levers intact its like lock itself no dis engaging...i can see it moving...hot water in door jar trick not working yet. not what i envisgaed i would be doing today

Dukes of hazard car...its all working i can see inside the lock is just not disengaging inside lever is going in out with actuator. Suns out now...all thawed out. Slightly vexed.
