Yeah i got xmas day off...but ive just had 3 weeks on the sick paid so thought id better pay it back plus by me doing it my work mates with kids dont have to. Triple bubble boxing day sweets it!

Well undecided...wanted to broaden my horizons with uk circuits next year....but that was b4 i found the formula that the westy fits in. I wont be able to afford to campaign the westy and do trackdays in the fd so i need to make a decision.

I think the FD will fit better and be overall faster. Safer too and keeps you dry when it's wet

well little update me...very slow progress due to back at work and a then going down again with 2nd kidney infection. friking annoying just saps all energy and enthuisiam!
but manage to finish the head light covers off today whilst sweating buckets.
and finally happy with idle settled on 900 rpm can rev and not die as it was at 840 rpm.

few marks here and there but about 6 coats satin black and 3 of lacquer. some glue here and there but good togo again. there in the air cupboard now for 24 hours before ill attempt tiger sealing them together tomoz.

outer edges wont show as will be covered by lenses.

lenses cleaned with thinners, buffed with g3, then autoglymed then washed in soapy water. took ages.

finished! ready to go back in!
longterm i think pop ups will go back in. few marks here and there done me best. painting and polish not my thing.

thinking about it now shouldve tried carbon wrap...wouldve covered fibre glass spiders...feck it might do new black surround on lenses....

well there back in...alright from 6ft but awful up close...dipped beam now has a 100w xenon gas filled halogen in there....hoping does melt anything.
