Porting that manifold helps control wg/boost better. Makes it more stable

There was a good set the other day looked pukka...now just the trworks 1 ...look like they been on a shelf for years and no idea if any good...
So dont worry about the cracks....flatten off replace stud and go again. ? Reuse or replace gaskets...they look ok tome?

That area by wg flapper and the area that has cracks in. That has experienced excessive heat as it's not port matched too what it's attached too, so instead of gasses flowing through the manifold it's basically restricted, so porting it will allow the gasses to flow through it better to prevent any further cracking and pieces faling off. And also stop gaskets leaking.

A ported wg stops boost spikes from it sticking

There's a couple on eBay with no cracks, only Â£75. Worth it if you don't want to port it.
I would personally get eBay one and port it also

Cool me havin a nap now..before my indian arrives far too much excitement for 1 day. Thanks for your help! 1 further question....though if i did go single i only want 350bhp max...i dont want some crazy power thing i only crash it lol. What have i got to do...injectors. map downpipe fab....prob about 2k plus? Cheers mate.

Yeh injectors if you haven't got 1680s in already. Down pipe looks fine too me, just needs crack welding up. I really liked the twins in none sequential mode as feels like a single turbo and doesn't kick in second turbo when your not expecting it. Worth asking about.

About 1 bar boost is enough, 1.3 is limit before they wear out fast.

1 bar should see over 300hp depending on if it's ported??

Lad thought bought my car had it remapped too 1.3 bar, it never broke the time he had it and sold it on eventually
