spent the last few hours researching headlights so boring!!!...e4 dot compliant....dipped beam, high beam oh lordy yep headache...3 cups of coffee later
think 1 found the solution and cheap. bought 1 set of these. they house a h4 ( twin filament 1 provides dipped flat line with left kick for mot beam pattern) the twin unit can be seperated so 2 lights 1 for each side....giving both hi and low beam....in theory should pass mot. custom bracket will have tobe knocked up but worth a Â£50 pound punt....worse case dont work, stick em on the Westy for road use as nobody sees you at junctions.

head hurts :blank: hoovering time and then im gonna tackle this fuel filter...wish me luck!

I'm sure Iv seen people mount it into the subframe so it's easier to access?? Might be worth a look into and out a better one in there when you put a better pump un

all back together, got to the ackward brake pipes and fuel pipes and lashings of copper slip. new exhaust gasket and hanger rubber.

had a read up on coolant buzzer and warning light, little paranoia talking in my ear....both work on ign sw pos 1( there is a continuos tone i remember it being loader?....but when car is running and confirmed coolant covering sensor i disconnected plug connector and no buzzer sounded...should have sounded right? as break in connection to ground.

i resistanced tested sensor cable to a ground and got 0.9M ohm was expecting top see continuity? right?

plus with ast delete where should level settle in coolant tower? its not at the top about 50mm below defo covering sensor. Ive checked the overflow tank all good antifreeze in there and blow down the pipe all clear.
