BOOSTED FD BUILD.

Only thing i can think of know is either porting the wastegate or adding restriction into the exhaust......or fitting the leaky turbos back on.
Any ideas anyone ?

Still sequential. Seems to 10 psi til 2nd turbo comes in then 14 psi then 16psi right at top of rev range 6 til 7000 rpm. On the old turbos with the slight blow 14psi.
These new 1s with the hks twin power seems the wastgate is just overwhelmed.
The addition of the boost controller has improved it but still seeing 15 psi.

The idea behind the boost controller is that this ibc r has a rpm input so solenoid duty can in altered rpm dependant but as both gain and duty are set at minimum i cant tune out the creep as no where left togo. The wastgate must be fully open yet so much exhaust gas the turbos are still spinning.
I can easily make up a restrictor for the dp to midpipe join.....

Well im think im now gonna replumb with just actuator and cap...so just on wastegate spring...so if it cant hold boost then wastegate if it does then its set up. Ive messed with restrictors pill made zero difference.

Mmmm further reading...on newer turbos there maybe a restrictor in the nipple on the primary turbo....these came with metal y pipe so could be? Ill be having a gander in the morning..

Just looked....no restrictors in the front turbo hose tails...so gotta look at restricting the midpipe as not taking them turbos out again if i can help it. 4 times is enuff. Got that badge nailed.

confirm its creep by plumbing back standard and plugging the duty solenoid line....then make up some restrictor plates to go between dp and mp. So gasket restrictor plate gasket. various hole sizes. Car has a silenced midpipe i will take a look at that as well. I goona take the original turbos apart too and see if Carl ported the wastegate if so then i barking up the wrong tree and have to pull the turbos and port them. nothings easy. My nice new boost controller install was very neat now its looking a mess.
