BOOSTED FD BUILD.

I was just watching old Virittäjät ("tuners" in english) series. Basic idea, former F1 driver Mika Salo test different cars. Didnt remember that there was one FD there. Car was actually guite good, according to Salo if it loses that big GT wing. Causes massive under steer in every corner Owner couldt drive, he is just builder. However, Salo did give him some tips so he improved immidiatly...

Well pretty happy...nice to be quiet at front of engine its boosting 15 to 16 psi flickering like mad so loosing boost at the leak.

Carl rang me back....map needs a tweak. No blow so more efficient...
Gotta say crappy boost control open loop with no feedback needs an closed loop ebc imho.
Get the map checked and a new set of plugs on the way from Clive.
Hopefully next week...

I quess so too. I just thought that you could drop boost abit to be safe...

But is you boost controlled by solenoid or by manual valve? Cause if its manual, overboosting would be bigger, right? And if apexi controls boost, it cant overboost too much? It can peak, but cannot escape to dangerous levels...?
