If your planning another uk trip Japi....you could wait til this show.  Its very big and last year the Rotarys seemed to dominate the track action.....seemed like the Essex and LC rotarys boys where out every other session. Lots of jap cars biggest show in uk.

Its at Castle Combe in Wiltshire . Not 1 of the more famous uk racing circuits but has decent racing heritage going back to 1955. most of the uk racing greats have peddle here in there early uk careers and at 1 point the fastest circuit in the uk! google castle combe circuit.

Spectator veiwing is great as theres not alot of run off and high banks for spectator veiwing.

Real pleased to hear your thinking of coming along, YOU WILL LOVE IT

It may be an idea to see the sights in London and then train down Chippenham and one of us will get you across to the hotel the night before, then drop you off at a Heathrow airport hotel on the way back.

Or hire maybe get you in a car for a few days, plus if you could get a hire Japanese car we  could get you around the track ( ever seen Days of Thunder  ;))

I'm sure between us all we can sort something for you

p,s, trust me,  your never going to get a Lisa angry so don't worry  8)
All the best Clive

Hi Japi....im close to Castle Combe and i could give you a bed for the night before and bed for the night of the event if need be and a lift to the event. If you fly in to Bristol Airport happy to pick up and drop off. Or as Clive says hire a car and take in some sites.

Thanks for replies guys. And thanks for offer Jon :) Really looking forward to see you all. I´m still very pissed of cause wasnt able to come to Holland or Goodwood. :(

Anyhow, I have a plan allready, I have spent several hours googleing... I think rental car is only option at this point. Because seems that my wifey and daughter are coming too :D

Lots of awesome sites to see. Plan (so far) is:
-Hire a car at Gatwick. We cant get reasonable direct flights to any other airport. Exept Heathrow but its too big for me, I´m a hillbilly ;)
-Drive south to shore to Arundel. Awesome sites to see
-continue to Portsmouth. Few sites there too
-then to Salisbury. I think we have to stay a night there.
-next day, visit the Stone´s, steal one of Jon´s cars, continue to north towards Trowbridge, and then towards Combe.
-next day to Bath and that area. Only problem is that more I study the area, more I find places to go. :)

Btw, what hotel do you guys usually go to? Premier Inn at Bath or Chippenham?

Would it be awesome to take a lap at Combe, dream come true. I could trash that rental car for fun thought, I hate that Fiat we had last time :D

Sorry Lisa again ;)

Premier Inn, Cepen Lodge is the usual hotel of choice.

Awesome that you are planning to come over for Japfest  :) There are so many lovely places you could choose to visit on your way over from Gatwick. If you decide to take a trip to Dorset (not currently on your schedule) then I can advise on some places to visit. You saw some of my coastal pics on Facebook  :) However, there is just so much to choose from and only a few days, but it will be fun deciding with your family what you'd like to do together.

Ok, thanks. In Chippenham or?

At first I planned to come to UK in August. Thru Dorset, north coast line and to Lincoln, towards Doncaster. There is big tattoo jam. And I need from Steves tattoo artist ;)

I did love your pics :) a bit different scenery than I have from my home :D But I will come to that direction, thats for sure. Just dunno when...
