Can anyone tell me a bit about this tuning co. \'Mines\' and wether or not they are very good.
Also, if anyone has a Mines ECU fitted to their FD what it\'s like in terms of performance etc.

cheers:D

They are very good, most well known for the Stuff they do with GTR\'s.

If you havnt already got an ECU id get something mappable though.  Mines are not.

Mine\'s is know for their tuning on skylines like J4P said as well as the EVO\'s. Very good co. not to familiar with them for anything else though...

Same as goes for any of the Jap non-programmable ECUs; you dont know what its been mapped for (altho u may be able to find out) or how dependant on Jap 100 octane it is (altho people may also debate the real difference between Jap and UK fuel may be).

I had an RE-A Redom copmuter and reallyabused my FD for a year and it lived to tell the tale. It ran REALLY rich. I may have been lucky tho, may be it was just a \'good\' motor :)

I know a few people who\'ve lost engines with these kind of computers tho - some thing programmable is a much better prospect. You should be able to get Power FC and Commander sets for like £650 easy enough these days so its a good first mod...

Thanks for the replies:)

I\'ll be budgeting for a power FC and commander soon then!
