Hi Guys

My S5 FC3S T2 is having some weird issues at the minute

Ever since i bought it it has had the same issue which is doing my head in

When coming up to a stop and putting the clutch in the engine will slow down to the point it will stall unless the throttle is applied.

Its worse when it is cold and when warm it will 50% of the time recover and just drop to 0 RPM and then go back to idle

I have Checked over the vacuum lines and seem to have no leaks. The car drives perfect but when coming to a stop with clutch down at traffic lights it seems to stall/try to stall

Wondering if anyone had any ideas or solution

When you start up the cold start should kick in, if it's not then chances are it needs a new thermal pellet

Not an ideal situation but you may be able to adjust the cable itself, perhaps pop us some pictures of the throttle area on the engine as this may help us help you.
All the best Clive

When i start without the clutch down and not in gear the cold start will come in. Starting at 3k RPM and steadly dropping to idle

Ill strip the TMIC off tonight and get some photos of the throttle cable area and linkage to see what is happening.

Or maybe a dodgy TPS. Mine use to do this ages ago. I never found the fault if im honest I just checked everything cleaned everything put it all back together and it worked again. They can be odd these blooming cars!

I don\'t need to upgrade my stock turbo to beat your ass!

Get your finger out, get it on the road and start driving it then!!! (B.Martin 25/2/12)

There are guides on here somewhere for checking the TPS etc.

Has anyone got a diagram of the stock earth locations? The engine has been replaced so may be missing some.
