Picked it up on Friday. Got 1,000 mile run in to do but done 230 already from driving home from Carl's :) so won't be long to get them done.

Got some stuff that need attention but I'm going too enjoy it first.

Need to get some spare alloys ASAP to get some semi slicks on

Woohoo...my first 1 was that colour....add a catch tank to list of things todo Grant and dont fill more that above half on dipstick...wheels....evo alloys after market wheels are direct fit and et30 so fit further out so no need for spacers.!

Give it a run to Japfest, that will get some miles on it :)

Looking good. Does it brab? ;) Did you allready rev it hard? :)
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Oil catch tank? Why? Got loads to catch up on for what to do on these beauties. Think I was going to stay with the stock wheels as can probably get a set of alloys for cheap:) and spend the cash on some federals.

It's bridged but doesn't brap. Good old side ports. Can't rev it hard until it's run In and had an oil change and filter.

Already thinking of trying to see if someone wants to swap an rx8 for the bridge ported fc engine I have as want to strip one out and go to a track.

See the filler neck...follow the pipe goes straight to intake! If you intended to rev her out in a few gears there high possibility your surge oil into intake...i stuck a spun alloy flask in gap up by brake servo and ran some pipe back n forth.  Cost a fiver! Saves coating the maf in oil and dumping oil into engine.

I'm already finding this car more fun than my FD. It turns better, brakes better, rides better. So much good things to say about them.

I shall ask carl, don't wanna mess with things just now, but will be making it go perfect.

Clive will be getting a cal from me to order a racing beat silenced Decat though

Grant Monkhouse

Iv got a busy 2 months ahead already so doubt I would make it. That would require me to go away for the weekend driving that far. Maybe a trip for next year with jess and austin

Yep sweet handling car. Very nice balance. You can hold the revs on a corner to drive the car out. I give mine at least 10 mins to warm up b4 hooning to get the oil upto temp.....you on standard springs as i am?

Yes standard springs but I'm
Going to go for some eibach'so from Clive's recommendation

Iv already got more confidence in this car than I ever did with my FD.
