Still got that one for sale yes.
I meant about the flooding don\'t believe everything you read on the net, these cars were driven by ordinary people in the first place so as long as its a good condition and very well maintained RX7 you shouldn\'t have any probs.
Maintenance is king with rotaries, it prevents so many issues:wiggle

When I got my FD I was concerned about turning it off cold, after all I\'d read.  Then one time I started it up from cold, and after ten seconds the low coolant buzzer went off, so I instinctively shut it off straight away.  It re-started without any trouble, so my worrying hadn\'t been necessary.  (Obviously I topped up the coolant first).

So at least on my FD, it isn\'t a problem.

Thanks for the replies I think it\'s looking good for me to take the plunge! Just have to get home now and find a friendly insurer ;-)

A random question here but why don\'t you lot front a team to enter totb every year? I\'ve been every year (except this one) since 2003 and it\'s always been a good gathering. Better now that Redline don\'t hold the reigns. I do remember a small number of FD\'s competing in the early days and the last one to have a go was Dragon Performance\'s drag RX7. That was certainly a crowd favourite :)
