Drive down on the Friday, show on the Saturday, which we do not have to rush off to this time.( We could always go into Amsterdam in the evening :Ladys-man) and leave on the Sunday morning.

I was a bit shocked about hotel prizes in that area. I was watching hotels south from Lelystad. I wanna see castles

Furb, any sightseeings what you can recommend? Your garage perhaps?

Amsterdam would be an option, but at night there\'s nothing more to see then weed and hoe\'s :chat although that would be enough for some people :King

Just booked the hotel 3 nights in the Apollo Hotel Lelystad Centre 10 to July 2015

so now what crossing are we meeting up on something around 10.00 am or earlier

You could do two nights but some members are talking about a little  site seeing trip on the Sunday  which makes it a more relaxed weekend

Just to let you know this is not a really  club event, just a road run to a Rotary event for Rotary enthusiasts that want to come along  that we will turn into very much a small vacation ,


We will be staying at the Apollo in Lelystad City Centre as a base while we are there that is not only a nice hotel but also its a new clean town with a market that will be on while we are there.

So it was not all about cars, we all had a great day out in Amsterdam that was a short train ride away including taking in the sights with a boat ride around the city-----------this year this may become a night trip  :mrgreen: depending what the majority wish to do.

Having been twice now, you will see some very rare Rotarys from all over Europe I can assure you that the guys at the event will fall over backwards to make you all feel welcome and you will realise that language becomes no barrier at all----------we all like cars---------nuf said  :thumleft:

This year some of us will stay on making it an extra day and visit the Louwman Museum which we are told by the organiser is a most excellent choice.


Nearer the time we will organise the shuttle times, where we will meet up etc.

Ok, seems like I cant join you guys this year.
I really was looking forward to go to Holland, but I just cant afford it now. I´m going to spend all my money to my project...

Ofcourse things can change, and hopefully I can get some extra money...
