I noticed today that when I\'m under load/boost that when I let off it sound like I\'m letting air out of a balloon and a pigeon noise lol. Could it be a split pipe anywhere? How is the best way to check? It\'s doing my head in as it\'s pretty loud. Cheers

Does sound like a boost leak...check your ic hose connections? id slacken off hose clips and check for splits where clips have gripped...and retighten. You got an aftermarket BOV?

I think it\'s a standard BOV. Running standard seq twins aswell. Il check the ic hoses, sounds like it\'s coming from the air filter side of things? Does sound stupid though lol. Cheers, il have a little look later

Can you video it? could even be a belt slipping?

Sounds like the stock BOV isn\'t opening. Check the actuator pipework to it.

It\'s definitely something to do with a split hose/BOV. What do I look for in the pipework to the actuator? Check for splits? Etc?

Il see if I can get a quick vid later for you guys to listen to aswell. In new to these cars, the twin turbo setup. Iv read up on the mechanical side and the reliability and I\'m fine with it, but excuse my numbness, but do they have 2 BOVs? With it having twin turbos? Excuse the noob question in use to my subarus and my Leon cupra r\'s

Nope the black one closest to the front is your bov, the identical but brown looking one nearest the brake servo is a charge control valve and best left alone Imo

Where\'s my BOV? Or has it been blanked off?

Do you mean a coo sort of sound? It\'s normally the air pump venting to air I think?

Ashp1989

He like a coo sound. How do I get rid of it if it\'s the air pump? It hasn\'t always done it.
