Took my engine out today, couldn\'t believe how straight forward the process was!!
Ended up with some cuts and an aching neck though.  I had trouble with the 14mm bolts on the bell housing, what a pain to reach!

I have a question, if I post a pic of the clutch plate, can someone tell me the condition?  I\'ve had a look but don\'t know what worn would look like.

Thanks,
Mark.

its worn!

sorry, i know i havent seen it but its such a pain in the a**e to fit you might aswell replace the clutch unless you know its only done a few thousand miles!  even if you only replace the plate!

400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

I see what you are saying antnic, may as well do it now, will save some hassle in the future!

Here are some pics of the plate anyway.

Don\'t muck about, change it while it\'s out - £295 the complete clutch with release bearing.

I agree with Clive it don\'t look to worn at all but if your going single get rid.

Thanks guys,

Can anyone recommend a clutch as I\'m going single?

antnicuk

I went for act street strip, but then i didnt want to spend over a grand like some of these clutches.  Mine was $400 on ebay from the states.
