Has any owners on here ever wanted to Move from there RX-7 to a R34 GTR?

I kind of want to own 1 of these now n stop will prob stop spending cash on the 7 n save for 1.

Fantastic cars!! I\'ve had 4 of them but they are a little overpriced now IMO. A far superior car to own over an RX7, reliable~you don\'t have to constantly watch your temp~you don\'t stink of petrol fumes~reasonably good on fuel (still poor but better than an RX7)~once again reliable :cheers
The 35\'s are dropping down now but are seriously expensive to maintain!

Going from an rx7 to an r34 is like going from a beautiful woman with great body shape, the perfect hour glass figure, to a fat bird!! If your into that kind of thing then yeah go for it.

I heard about the mad prices on Maintaining a R35 n a friend sold it due that.

True, the RX7 just looks sexy, how would u comment a NSX to a RX7? Still have a NSX on mind to along with R34.

NSX  is probably the only car I would substitute for FD. Not as good as an FD looks wise but a car on my "list" that I want

Odd, had my FD for 8 years and never had a breakdown or failed an MOT. I guess it must be the owners ;)

rx-dave

I\'ve also had 3 NSX, the first was a manual and a great car, second an auto but that was a little disappointing and the third had been supercharged, now that was nice!!!!
I\'d still have a good exmple of an R34 GTR over the NSX though and either over an RX7. Prices of the GTR and NSX are on the up though whereas the RX7\'s are dropping so i suppose would be better value.

re japi

Skylines are great cars. Quite reliable too. But if something brakes down, you are in big doo doo ;)
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

Carbon RX

FD\'s are by no means dropping in price anymore, they are going the other way now thankfully and shall only continue to do so. Ive had quite a few friends with Skylines and they ALL have had more issues with their cars than i have mine. Not to mention the cost of when it eventually does go wrong, somewhat over double than my rebuild cost!

turbo boy

in 10yrs time fd rx7s are gonna be worth a small fortune. I remember when I had my s1 rs turbo in the 90s they was worth around £3k, fast forward 15yrs and now some of `em are fetchin £15k! For a 1.6 escort turbo!

There`s nothing wrong with a second car as long as its cool, im in to retro bmws but love anything unusual and fast. I will always keep my fd tho.
Would love a gtr someday... it is true tho, that gtr`s are not pretty but MEAN lookin which I also like:mmmm

A lot of mix comments n making me think again, FD has always been my dream car as a kid up to now.

After my accident i had on snow on the motorway made me feel paranoid when i drive it now as i did nothing n it just got spin out with a slash of snow.
I think i will continue modding my Rex n give it better traction with putting a new set of alloys n run wide tyres.

R34 Defo is going to cost a build if a Rebuilt, NSX parts are going to cost a bomb also.
Overall I\'ll keep my heart back to the RX7 ;)
