Hey budd
My mistake the guy I know have the plate letters other way around

Chris@FD

Mike,

Did you sell it to another guy in scotland? I\'m sure that car is not far from me all though not in a good way..

MikeA7RXR

Hey Chris
Would be brilliant to trace it down, as i am also thinking of a track project, that car had some really nice little bit and bobs on it, any ideas?

Cheers

Mike

Chris@FD

I\'m sure i seen that many years ago driving about my area and someone told be they seen it sitting under covers looking very sorry for its self..

Was it white??

MikeA7RXR

Chris
The last time i seen her was when i sold it to Hurley engineering, they sold it on from there, it was Silver with a veilside front end similar to the one you see on late spec Fds, it had Rx8 wheels and a mazda speed rear spoiler again similar to late spec Fds, was even gonna post a reward to find her as i actually brought her in from Japan in 94 before anyone else was really into imports, thanks for helping, cheers, Mike

Thanks for that, just gonna look, do like the white on Al has for sale, whats your thoughts?

i cant see why this doesnt tick all the boxes for you.  Far superior than any standard rx you will find. Simple single turbo, no overcomplicated rats nest, better engine management, better cooling, better looks, wheels, better brakes etc....And a perfect car to transform into a track car should you want.... A rebuilt engine from a reputable builder and its a late spec car...YOU would be MAD not to buy this....

The owner is not a friend of mine but you can see he is a true enthusiast....
Definately want it mate but the dog has just died so will be getting the missus a new dog for christmas....
Sounds like a good deal but will have to ask the dragon first.....  :flamed  :spank

Not everyone wants something modified though fella, for me Almeidas car is a perfect example of a well modified fd but the new era one is just perfect for a standard model with great wheels.

ordinarily id be inclined to agree.  If it were a bigger turbo i could understand, but the gt35 is known for its good spool up times, so gives a similar punch to a good working set of twins..  The twin turbo although good at 14 years old on a 2000 spec car its really coming to the end of its life...rats nest pipes cracking etc...i just like the simplified nature of a single...The car is modified yes, but all in the right places...However if you could pick up a late spec for 6k then i\'d understand...ive seen 2 go through in the last 18 months at that price...ive not seen the newera one tbh...

This vendor, (Jurgen), or the car has nothing to do with me, but I just spotted it and so thought it might be of interest to the OP.

Looks like quite a nice 1999 Mazda RX7 Type RB 5 Speed Manual with a recent rebuild.

Happy to help :Thumbsup!

One of the best twin turbo cars I have been in/mapped, with good proven compression results as well.
A true bargain.

Appreciate your comments. My car has nearly 25k put in to it and appreciate everyone is different. the newrra one has 65k miles on the clock and mine has 26k on the clocks with rebuilt engine with single set up.
But I am not in a rush to sell, the right buyer will come along and see what he/ she wants
Mike good luck with your hunt
