Hi folks. Im looking to buy a Mazda Capella from a local guy for a rotary drag-project. Im pretty sure its the same model as this one:

Is this model any good for a custom project? Anyone here have done them? Looking for pictures of cool builds and more info as im not very familiar with these models.

Search RX 2 rather than Capella  and you will get more ideas

Okey, thanks. So its named RX2 also - same car, just rotary powered?
I have the chassisnumber, SNA134221.

They will make for a good drag project:) if you join ausrotary.com you will see lots of cool old school rotary projects. The search engine is a PITA but there\'s loads of helpful people on there, very friendly.

I had same project on my mind too! :) But I was going to do a oldscool sleeper. Unfortunately, that car is rare now. I found few of them but they all very rotten or too expensive... :/

I even contacted local deelership and importer. Didnt get any papers, they all have been destroyed or lost...

Interesting that I found out, was that they built RX-2 alot. Way more than 616, Capella or 1600. :)
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.
