For sale is my Cosmo

Spec:
1993 Cosmo 3-rotor 20B JCESE â€" series 1
300hp/297 lb.ft
twin turbo
4 speed auto
Classic red and cobalt grey 2 tone paint

Type E interior (does not have the problematic sat nav screen)
- Secondary climate & Audio control from steering wheel
- Power controlled seating
- Power tilt adjust steering
- Cruise control
- Power windows
- Power mirrors
- Remote controlled central locking
- Full cream leather interior.
- Milano wood trim

other usual stuff:
ABS, PAS, front double wishbone suspension. Rear multilink suspension with quad dampers, Acoustic valve exhaust system.

Good points
It is very low mileage. Circa 40,000km, the chassis is straight and very clean. Paint work is very good for a 20 yr old car.  The leather is very good condition too. No scratches or marks. Just a bit dirty. Brand new battery fitted.

Bad points
The leather is dirty. Needs a good leather shampoo and clean to come up new. The car failed its mot back in January for 2 bald tyres and exhaust rubber hangers split (causing the exhaust to hang)
It also failed on emissions. After investigating it, I believe the engine water seals have gone, therefore requiring a rebuild. (hesitant start, light white smoke from exhaust, expanding top hose).  Alarm fob is temperamental, and sometimes won’t de-immobilise the car. Broken bit off front bumper, front and rear bumper has a scuff and would need a respray.

I bought it with the intention of tidying it up to make the perfect ‘thirsty weekend cruiser’.
I planned doing a full rebuild long with a full major service aswell as replacing/upgrading anything found to be ‘worn’.

But due to time constraints aswell as other projects that I currently have on the go, I can’t see myself getting round to doing this project for a while yet, so I’m willing to let it go to someone who wants a cosmo/project/moneypit/couch-on-wheels/20b-swap/parts/spares……

I paid £3000 for it and want back what It owes me. I do believe it to be worth more, and even more in running condition. If it doesn’t sell, I’m happy to keep hold of it as it’ll be classic status soon, and collectable as they’re supposedly less than 900 20B cosmos left on planet earth. I’m sure E.T took a couple back with him as the technology is far superior to anything he’s seen before.

Do you have pictures of the interior? Interested in seeing seats, center console, arm rest, door cards and if there are mats under the mat on the drivers side around the pedals.
