The GSL-SE version in the US had it never seen it in the uk, some have done a gen 2 subframe conversion but its a lot of work just to get that and the only other benifit is gen 2 front brakes and that can be achived easier

Look up steering adjustment you can tigten some of the play out of the steering it\'s also worth replacing the bushes in the pivot / pitman arm

I had a manual quick rack in my FD and wanted some assistance for non-track stuff so fitted a Corsa C electric column.

Easy to say but it does mean making a hybrid column from the Mazda/Corsa parts.

Go to the gym and grow some muscles to help you turn the wheel.

What Grant Said.  FB steering isn\'t that heavy anyway.  Time to take some man pills and man up! :Thumbs-up:Thumbs-up

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

It should only be heavy at parking speed Mick.
My missus is a tiny woman and our FB was her daily drive.

Mind you I grew to dread that raised arm when she wanted to clip my round the ear. Biceps like you\'ve never seen!

At normal road speed the FB is quite light on the steering with that big steering wheel compared to modern cars......a bit vague yes.....check the steering idler bushes out if that\'s the case. Easy fix.

planning to re bush the whole car as most of them r perished ! & theres a knocking noise when on full lock so might aswell sort it all out as safety comes first & it should handle much better!

Any chance of some pics of the setup?
I have a rack in my Gen 1 Rx7 and also have a Corsa C electric power steer column in the garage. I\'ve been thinking about how I might splice it into the Gen 1 7 column. Be interesting to see how you did it in an FD.

Thanks
