289ci 4 barrel carb, she\'s a 1965 A code.

My dads was a 289, 4.7 litres is it? But he sold that as parts are hard to come by and got a 302 instead as there is huge demand for parts them. 5.1litre

Yeah thats right about 4.7, parts are a little easier to get where I am

The 302 is basically a modified 289 apparently but they\'re both good engines, I\'m not a big expert on Mustangs so it\'s all a learning curve for me.

Yes, 289 and 302 are basically the same engine.

I have few friends who are Mustang enthusiast. And there is big concentration of Mustang here were I live. For example, original ´67 Shelby GT350.
