My RX7 TII Cabriolet must find a new home this week (by 7th July) or go

to the scrapyard. Here\'s the sorry tale.

I had a white TII cab which I enjoyed for two or three years before a

dickhead on a motorbike wrote it off for me.

With the insurance money I then bought G310 DCF, a black TII cab. After

only a few months happy use, my personal and financial circumstances

changed radically. I left the car in its garage with the intention that I

would use it again once things changed for the better. That hasn\'t

happened over the three years since and I now have to vacate the

garage, so I have to let it go.

It\'s a sorry sight now, covered in dust, but underneath is a car well worth

having for someone who has the time to sort it. I hadn\'t opened the

garage door for three years, it\'s now like Miss Haversham\'s Mazda.

I bought the car soon after the previous owner had fitted a rebuilt and

uprated engine from Hurley Engineering. I don\'t know what level of

porting it had but it was considerably faster than my previous standard

car. He also had a new hood fitted. It has done less than 2000

miles on the new engine.

The car will be sold as seen and is not currently in a drivable condition.

One tyre is flat and is probably u/s, the other three may have suffered

through standing for so long. The battery will be flat and the

rotors/housings should be lubricated before attempting to start it. It has

no MOT and is SORNed. But, the last time it was used three years ago,

there was nothing wrong with it at all. I *do not* have the time to do any

of the above but will be happy to answer any questions, PM me.

Whilst money is always welcome, my priority is not to have to scrap it so

please make me an offer.

Location is ST13 5NL, North Staffordshire.

Good to hear from you.

Manual

How does £400 sound?

I\'d be happiest if it was put back on the road but if not, there\'s a good few quid\'s worth there as parts.

grinder

damn that\'s tempting :)

whats the spec of the car ??

I have 2 already .. she might kill me if I buy a 3rd one ! LOL

Only non standard, as far as I\'m aware, is the Hurley Engineering \'Sport\' rated engine. It\'s a \'street port\', noticeably more power.

It\'s black, she\'ll never notice it!

grinder

so is it stock apart from the engine ???

Im stuff thinking exhaust , cone filter , fcd , suspension etc..

Whats it like for rust underneath

Is it a UK or Jap ?

I\'m afraid that I don\'t - probably better to research from your end.

It was. I don\'t know how much it has deteriorated.

To those asking specific questions about the condition of the car - I don\'t know. All I do know is that it was fine when I last used it. The only way to be sure would be to get it out, clean it up, examine it, MOT it and get it running. I don\'t have the time or the money to do that.

I\'m prepared to let it go for a price which is good for breaking to spares. It would be a bonus if it were to be put back on the road, though. Either is better than the scrapyard which is what will happen if nobody takes it.

I appreciate that transporting it may be costly. Make me an offer.

whats your email mate, ....I dont mind having a play with it until it blows up then scrapping it...im coming from an FD background so have no clue about FC\'s...
