bought this radiator from this online company as was in needof a replacement rad. spotted this, claimed to be a direct bolt on for the FC.

got the product and it was completly wrong.
contacted them and they repsoned promptly asking for photos, and claimed they supplied this part to mazdarotaryparts, and they never had any compliants about the product.

however have not herd back from them since. has been about 3 weeks. so im stuck with a rad that wont fit and no sign of getting a refund.

so just a heads up to everyone to avoid this site, the cheap prices are for a reason it seems.

needless to say the claim they supply mazdarotaryparts was outrageous

I looked into there rad .but I couldn\'t even find a phone number or an address on there website. So in my eyes it was over .

I Ordered a Godspeed from USA via Ebay.

Fantastic Radiator but expensive way of doing it :s

It looks like the same one I have on my FC. It isn\'t a direct bolt on one like it claims to be. For some reason it has plates at both sides than need to be cut away for it to fit correctly. Once this is done it does fit and works well though. It\'s just a PITA to have to modify something brand new that shouldn\'t need it in the first place.

I did the same, tried a Chinese rad from ASI first, but although it was an excellent large rad it required modification to fit it and the welds on the side tanks started to fail after 6 months.  Finally went for a Godspeed and found it an excellent drop in replacement.

@ TiddlesRX7 - did you have to modifiy the pipes for the hoses? as mine are in bad angles for the rad hoses to fit. even the filler pipe is at such an angle that when mounted it is not useable lol

Would you happen to have a link please to this MRP "claim"!!

BTW I know these rads are cheap but its maybe worth knowing that Brise Motorsport , the company who look after my alloy welding duties and a company that supplies all the intercoolers for BTCC and origonated out of FI  will not even try and weld these rads due to the poor quality of the alloy mix.

I know that some are maybe ok but I feel if your on a budget people are better off getting the stock rad flushed clean by a rad company to get all the silt and sediment out so the water flows properly
All the best Clive

they just emailed me that claim when i said that it was completley wrong fit. i  lol\'d at it. and replied letting them know that it was an outrageous claim that they supplied MRP.

i had my rad cleaned, flushed and refurbed recently and it just started leaking again. so was in a tricky spot where i needed a rad quick and didnt want a standard one and seen this for cheap.

my own fault really for rushing to buy

this is the only email i recieved from them:

The filler neck angle is okay on mine. It would have been better if it was just on top of the rad though (don\'t know why they made it like they do). The bottom hose connection is on different angle to the stock one iirc too.
It\'s a very cheap radiator at the end of the day and if I had the money I\'d have bought a Koyo or Godspeed instead.
I actually bought my first one of these on Ebay and sent it back cause of the mounting issues (I wasn\'t gonna start chopping a new one up to fit). I then got the one on my car off a member on here that had fitted it to his FC. When I got it I still had to chop it a bit to get it to fit nicely.

Hope that helps
