yeah that was me following you. dam if only that route was discovered earlier it would have saved me a quarter tank off fuel lol
did you also notice those two evo 7,s as we went on the carraigeway those things was well quick

gsb876

Yea we went the wrong way out too, much quicker, i think Chris boid left approx 45 mins before us, we then took the short cut and came out 10 cars ahead of him!!!

Must apologise for not seeing everyone before i left:(

Gaz1011,

Have you moved the electric aerial on the back of the car to the roof or is that aerial something different?

gaz 7470

hi the previous owner relocated the ariel to the roof looks a lot better i think

chrisBoid

I cut across the field we were in and pushed my way into the queue (wasn\'t let in by an RX-8 I\'ll add!), then went across another short stretch of grass past a load of caravans to cut off another stretch of queing.  It was all the wrong way though.  All the queues went around that big lake they had.

5 mins to get in, 1hr 15mins to get out :(

Didn\'t spot you though Gurj, might have been too busy watching Leon from JPS Motorsport spinning the wheels of his orange Supra :)

I did see a few local\'s cars come in, so I should have twigged and driven out the way we came!

gsb876

Yea there were 2 orange supras that come flying past me on the A45, it was a 60mph m-way and i didnt follow them as there was a likelyhood of police watching that close to the venue????

Haha, I was just desperatly trying to cath a 360 Modena.  Was the 2nd one to turn off in front of me on the way to JAE and would of been a ncie comparison :D

chrisBoid

Hehe, there must have been an "I\'m rich and own a Ferrari" meet somewhere near by :)

No piccies yet as she\'s still totally standard at the minute (\'94 L in black).  There is a shopping trip to DRAGON planned for next month or the month after, should have about 2.5k to spend so I\'m thinking veilside "C2" or Ings nosecone

Any links/piccies of sexy kits that I may have overlooked are appreciated.

Looks nice mate, what was it like to fit?

Personally i think the INGS+1 front end is THE nicest nose for the FD. Bit subjective of course, but i think it\'s amazing. I take it you\'ve had a look at the pics on Ross\' site? Only part of the kit i\'m not so keen on are the skirts (and the wing i guess!), think the perfect combo would be INGS+1 front and rear, mazdaspeed type-2 wing and C-West skirts (marked as GTC skirts on Dragon). Very different, looks fab without distorting the lines of the FD too much.

VeilSide kit is amazing in a different way - there are few kits that make such an impact, but personally i think it makes the nose just a bit too long.

Another one to check out might be the KS Auto kit, again rare and also beautiful!

There\'s loads of kits available, but most are simply so expensive to import that it\'s just impractical. Including shipping, taxes etc, it\'s not uncommon for a front bumper alone to cost near a grand!!

A great site is http://www.takakaira.com, it\'s got a LOT of kits for the FD. That said, as value for money goes certainly seem like Ross is your man! :D

Sorry about the hijack Gaz, and cheers for the spec list etc! Bit of a redundant newbie question, but what exactly is a Silver reverse glow kit? Sounds very interesting!

I\'ve seen quite a few different front noses / cones are there are some that although are cool just dont go on the RX?

I\'ve got the C-west nose and front lights and personally like them??

chrisBoid

Mmmm, FEED Type II-R

gsb876

Chris,

does your car sit slightly higher than usual???

As the car looks quite high, well high as you can get in a FD!!!:rollin
