Tailgate bulb

hi there

just one of those little annoying things....bulb on the inside tailgate seems to be not working...replaced it today and still no joy....wondering if maybe i need the cover for it to work...mines doesn\'t have anything...

..any ideas?? If more info needed i\'ll try and get a wee picture!! Nothing major like...just a little annoying thing!

Mine doesnt have a cover either and it works, to be honest with you its really not worth it, you get the same about of light as you would from a candle at 10 miles! :p
